Audition Information
Two contrasting selections in any style, or language. Feel free to send more than two selections if desired. The company programs both, operatic and crossover repertoire every season. Strong crossover capabilities are highly valued.
Please choose selections that feature your ability to sing the folliowng:
- Classical technique/style.
- Crossover abilities (modern musical theater, jazz, etc).

Cantos Mundo (www.cantosmundo.com), an international concert series based in the northern state of Coahuila, is looking to cast mainstage artists for its 2022 December season. Now in it's sixth edition, Cantos Mundo offers exquisite performances of classical music, mexican standards, and crossover genres, to audiences all over Northen Mexico. The galas take place in Teatro Isauro Martinez, one of Latin America's most beautiful theaters. Invited artists get the opportunity to appear in Mexican TV, Radio stations, and in billboards all around the city of Torreón while in residende.
The company invites established artists from all around the globe to spend a week in Torreón, Mexico. The goal is, so represent and unite different cultures through the art of song, and to give the artists the opportunity to experience Mexican culture through different events.
Cantos Mundo has represented more than 12 different countries through the voices of invited artists, and we seek to expand this representation even further. We are specially interested in artists with dual nationality, and from underrepreseted communities/groups.
